Salamander Universal bonded leather is made from crushed leather and cardboard sawdust and is used in the manufacture of belts, bags, various haberdashery as a reinforcements or to add volume for the product. Also used in the shoe industry. When bent, it does not crack like ordinary cardboard, it is glued with any glue for leather or fabrics.
